Board Policies

As required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, we adhere to our board policy, which governs all decisions made by the board and all activity within the district.

The Port Allegany School District has completed a full district policy review with the Pennsylvania School Boards Association. We will house all board approved district policies through BoardDocs, and you can access them using the link below.

The Port Allegany School District buildings will be closed beginning Thursday, April 9 through Tuesday, April 14 for the Easter holiday.

High School students should continue their planned instruction lessons and elementary students should continue their enrichment activities on Wednesday, April 15. 

In the meantime, stay engaged with your education, maintain your social distancing, and be sure to do your part as we work through this closure period.  Our buildings will again be opened to our students and the public once it is safe to do so.
